The love of my life turns another year better today!
The last month and a half have been a bit of a whirlwind for us but especially Melissa. We've moved a parent, we've been on an Alaskan cruise, we've wrapped up wedding/reception activites for one of our children, we've been sick, gotten better, and all of the normal things we do this time of year.
... but it's not over yet! Holidays are just around the corner and Melissa will, once again, prove what kind of rock star she is. :)
I feel like we have had to lean on each other a lot this year and I look forward to many more years leaning on Melissa and she on me.
Given that I forgot to get cards, etc. before her actual birthday and got up early this morning to get out and do so, I hope this day is now set right. :)
My wish is that my bride has a wonderful 55th birthday and, despite my having to work this weekend, that we will get to celebrate in short order.
