On April 6, 2018, I initiated my son, John, into the Kappa Mu chapter of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. I was so nervous because I wanted him to have the best initiation he could possibly have, and it turned out to be one of the best initiations I have ever seen. This is not an experience many dads get to have and I'm so happy that, not only did he and I get to experience it, a week later, he's demonstrating that he "gets it". The brotherhood, the ritual... he seems to understand. There are very few things that could make me prouder, as a father and as a Kappa Sigma.
